The food here is both cheap and good. If you like Chinese food, go for it.
We tried take-out lunch, and the food was very good, was prepared quickly (about 5 minutes for 4 dishes), and the price was great ($4-5 for a lunch bowl).
The building seemed to be a little old and modified for this restaurant, so the atmosphere was not excellent, but seemed comfortable.
I loved it there. Michael bought Jihae and I a meal there. So it has a special place in my heart. The food is really good. If you want the typical, Chinese American food to its max. You will like it at the China Bowl. 
The food here was excellent. The food seemed fresh, not so greasy, and very affordable. I took out, so I'm not so sure on service/atmosphere, but if you're looking for some good, inexpensive chinese food, this is a great place to go.
