Demae Japanese Restaurant

Definitely call ahead if you're going to Demae on a Tuesday night. Sometimes there's not much of a wait, but there have been many times when I've gone and the wait is 30-45min. It's even better to place an order for takeout, because even if you're seated, the wait can be loooong to get your food. Not the best sushi, but if you want ok sushi at a great price, I definitely recommend going there on a Tuesday night. Otherwise, go somewhere else.

Their Tuesday specials are great! All sushis are 1/2 off. My friends and I used to come here on Tuesdays and then go to 50 cents Movies 8 afterwards when we were Freshmens and poor. Great service, great environment, and expect to wait maybe 5-10 mins. if you go on Tuesdays.

Tuesday's sushi special cannot be outdone by any other restaurant. Not everything on their menu is the best, but for the price they're worth it!

There Tuesday sushi special for $3 for any roll is unbelievable. The rolls are smaller, but the price is unbeatable. I love their miso soup and they have the most delicious Katsu pork dish with a yummy dipping sauce. Their salad dressing, that you can purchase up front, is also scrumptious. My recommendation, GO!

Demae was my first experience into great japanese cuisine. will always be a fave.
