Joe Veras Mexican Fiestaurant

I was first introduced to this restaurant by my grandmother whose favorite restaurant this is. I think the food is above average. I really like their "El Bandito" house special. It's a lot of food and kind of like a tostada, but better. Their chille relleno is also very good.

Man, this place was a real dive! My wife and I went here with her parents, and it was like eating Mexican food from a can. I don't think it could have been much worse. I think the restaurant may have been more popular 10 or 20 years ago, but it's definitely nothing to get excited about now.

This is probably my favorite Mexican place in Provo. I also like the "El Bandito" house special. The complimentary chips and salsa are definitely delicious. The dishes leave you full and the price is reasonable, $7-$15 a plate. The atmosphere is nice and not too crowded unlike there competitor Los Hermanos which is always crowded and doesn't taste as good.

This is a great place to eat. It's fun with family or just you and your girlfriend or wife. They have great food and great service. I would recomment it to my mother!
