I just went here last week and it was my first time at an Indian restaurant and man, it was an awesome experience. The place is a little, cozy place with a very nice atmosphere. The food I tired was chicken makhnia and I ate it to the last crumb. I've been craving to go back every since. The price at dinnertime for the food was 9 bucks and I was plenty full. I'm going to go back there soon, that's for sure. Try it out if you're ever in the LA area.

This place is small but has all your pharmaceutical needs. But more than that, their ice cream selection is awesome. 99 cents for a big scoop of ice cream and less than 2 dollars for a 2-scoop that, most likely, you won't even be able to finish on your own. I've been going here to get ice cream ever since I was a kid and the price and good taste hasn't changed since.

For any UCI student, this place is awesome. The prices are good, and basically they have everything you need here. There's a lot of ok restuarants around the area as well. They also have a video rental store inside the shop (but then again, there's a blockbuster in the same plaza). Awesome supermarket.

If you're looking for any sports related equipment, this is the one-stop place to go. I got everything from tennis racket, snowboards, and even a whole weight set here. This place is reasonable in its prices and it's located nearby a lot of great restaurants too.

Basically, this is a fancier version of Ralph's but the price here is actually quite reasonable. It's in the same plaza as first class pizza and the place is really clean and very nice. There' s a deli section, a bagels/doughnut section, and just about anything else you need for daily living. There's even a vending machine that used to sell ipods last time I checked.

This KFC is really close to the beach and if you're around the area surfing, swimming, or just relaxing, this is a good stop for a quick snack or light meal. The place itself is quite small with only a couple of small tables, but if you're at the beach, might as well as take advantage of it and eat out (just a couple blocks away). The service here is good and it's always a good experience.

This KFC is unique in that it is combined with Del Taco. It's right across from UCI. However, the service here is pretty awful. They are always out of hot sauce or ketchup and there's no napkin to be found. Sometimes, you come and ask for chicken and they'll be all out. Not the best KFC shop. Disappointed.

A good place for a quick bite of Italian food (although not really authentic). The pizza and chicken alfredo is not bad and they come with a salad during lunch specials. The chicken parmesian is alright too. Really close to UCI and makes for a good lunch spot with friends.

This place is in the heart of Newport Beach and a lot of rich people around the area shop in this very trendy and fashionable spot. There's a pretty good food court and a coy pond, and a barnes and nobles, and an edward's theatre. Although not as big as the nearby South Coast Plaza, it still has a considerable amount of stores. A good place to take your dog for a walk.

This place is Irvine's basically only cool hang-out place where everyone comes for the weekend to shop, spend time with friends, play at the arcades, have some ice cream, or watch movies at the huge 21 Edward's. This place is getting bigger every day and the last time I checked it out, I couldn't even find my way around since it got so big. If you're in Irvine, you have to check it out.

I can't complain about this place. The service is fast, the food good, and the environment is very clean and welcoming. It's better to come in a bigger group since it'll be cheaper that way but either way, you'll have good quality, authentic Korean bbq in your belly at the day's end and all is good.

I LOVE THIS PLACE! This place has the best TONKOTSU ramen I've had in America (of course, it can't compare to Japan's, especially the legendary Kyushuu ramen). The shop feels like an authentic Japanese ramen shop with the "irasshaimase" greeting from the cooks. You also get complimentary tea and the prices are not that bad. The down side is that you have to order sides (such as bamboo shoots) separately and they usually go for a buck apiece. However, the extra noodle is less than a buck and if you can finish 5 bowls of noodles in one sitting, your meal is on the house (it's pretty much impossible). Anyways, if you're a ramen lover like me, COME HERE!

Very friendly student environment and open late at night so you can satisfy your boba or snack cravings here. Try their spicy chicken pieces (very hot). Although the food and drinks are good, I must admit that particularly the boba is overpriced (you can pay over 5 bucks for a drink!!). Worth a try though.

For all you health nuts out there, this place is an awesome place to get some organic, quality food that you can't find anywhere else. There's tons of goodies and awesome, unique snacks. The price is a bit higher than your usual marketplaces but it's quite worth it. Once you have some of their food, I'm sure you'll come back.

They give you a TON of ice cream (I ordered a small and couldn't finish it). Well, first of all, it's frozen yogurt and it's really quite good. There's a ton of toppings you can add onto it (the peanut butter and M&M's is pretty good). A lot of students from UCI come by here. Ray's Pizza is right next door too and there's a nearby movie theater and Trader Joe's.

Good place for students and anyone else to come enjoy a good pizza or (my favorite) the meat sauce lasagna, which comes with two garlic bread pieces and a drink for 6 bucks. The owner is pretty interesting guy and there's quarter arcades with old classics like street fighter and a television to keep you occuppied. There's Golden Spoon frozen yogurt right next door for dessert too.

Right across the street from UCI, it's a fast, cheap food for students on the run. They're open late to about 1 AM and it has free wireless internet so you can study here too. The bbq chicken is my personal favorite. The drinks here aren't too bad either. Some people may get turned off by the automated voice that calls your number every two minutes or so but it's a clean environment.

This is the famous one and only Diddy Riese. The big deal here is that you can get an ice cream sandwich for a buck and you can imagine the long lines here. The cookies, personally, are above to above average quality while the ice cream that they serve is Dreyer's. Some people swear it's the best and I admit it's good for that sweet tooth crave (it's open until 1 AM). Beware of long lines during dinner time.

The location is great (right in the heart of Westwood) and you can go watch a movie afterwards, stop by Diddy Reese for some ice cream sandwiches, or maybe spot some celebrity at the opening premieres a street away. There's free parking for the first hour but even after the limit, the parking isn't that bad (considering it's LA).

Like most other olive garden restaurants, the atmosphere here is nice and the food great. It can be a bit pricey if you're a student but once in a while for a fancy dinner with friends, family (or even a date) would be nice here. Movie theaters are nearby too.
