Nordstrom is pretty much the only high-end retail store Utah offers. I heard rumors once that Saks Fifth Avenue was contemplating moving and my heart flipped with joy. But its probably just a rumor. Nordstrom does have great customer service, and a decent shoe selection. But the best time to go is during their half yearly sales. Seriously, the best deals in town!

I love grocery shopping at Wild Oats. Its the closest thing to Whole Foods Grocery Store that they have out in the big cities. The food is always fresh and gourmet and I love their molasses cookies. Their sushi bar isn't too bad either. Just make sure you aren't on a budget when you go their to shop! You definitely pay for the quality, but it is worth it!

i really like their carmel apples as well. and believe me, i know my carmel apples. also, their chocolate carmel covered pretzels ain't too shabby either. you can't walk by this place without taking a peak inside. i think its the wonderful smell of chocolate they blow out the door.
