If you like salty food.. go for it. Price is decent, I like the environment but food is too salty. (According to me and few other Korean people I know)

Sam Hawk serves very authentic Korean food and is one of my favorite korean restaurant in utah. The price is around $8-12 for a dish.
I brought many of my friends there and all of them enjoyed their experiences. Try their Jab Chae and GalBi.

Good Korean food for the area. The price is really affordable and the place is really clean, neat, and gives off a friendly vibe where you can just chill with friends.

The food is decent, if you want a home-cooked meal taste, then you would like the food here. For me personally, I eat my mom's meals all the time, so if I come here, it doesn't even seem like I went out to eat, so it isn't as exciting if you know what I mean. Service is pretty slow, so if you're not patient, go elsewhere.

I love Sam Hawk. It's pretty good for pretty much being the only korean restaurant in town. Anyway, the only advice I would give before going in is to have tons of breath mints and to leave your jackets out in the car because when you leave you will smell really bad.

sam hawk's soups aren't good. Especially the kimchee cheegae. I think my baby brother could probably do a better job. But their meat is pretty good. Personal favorite is Bul Ko Ki. The thing I like about Sam Hawk is that you buy a bowl of rice, and after that, you can get as much rice as you would like. And they also give you a lot of side dishes. Price is not bad for some korean food.

I don't really like their food at all. their soups aren't very tastey, and their side dishes arent' that good and the meats just seem greasy. You smell like the food really bad when you leave the restaurant and the waiting time is SO long! It doesn't taste very authentic just greasy and sugared down

The restaurant is very much authentic Korean fare, although you wouldn't know it from the exterior. It shares it's building with many other businesses and restaurants in a sort of mini-mall setting, dominated by Honk's $1.05 store. The food is the number one feature of this restaurant, as it is very tasty, and well-prepared. The shiny, silver chopsticks are a joy to eat with, and the side dishes that come with the main meal are an added surprise that you don't see in their entirety when you order to go. The service tends to be very slow, so you must be patient. Usually there's a thirty to forty-five minute wait for take out orders, so call ahead to order before you arrive. If eating in, you are able to admire the many photographs of children and previous customers lining the walls. This adds a very endearing quality to the restaurant that makes you feel more and more at home as you return there more and more often. Many of the items may seem unfamiliar and foreign to you (because they are!), so, I suggest you start with the chicken or pork bulgoki and go from there.

Sam Hawk is one of my favorite resturants in UTAH.
The spicy pork Bulgogi is AMAZING!!
I also love their side dishes and the Spicy Tofu Soup. If you like spicy and oriental food, you have to go!
I always call them to order before I go, so I don't have to wait for a long time.
